Map to Rabbit Valley Observatory (with some notes below)
map to Rabbit Valley Observatory

Notes (follow the red line if coming from the center of town):

From the center of town take Ranchitos Road out to Cottam Road and turn right and go up the hill.

Turn right on Blueberry Hill Road and proceed to the brown trailer marking the left turn and proceed down Lower Las Colonias Road.

At the west end of the small valley, stop and then proceed up and immediately bear left on Rabbit Valley Road.

We are the second house (12 Rabbit Valley Road) on the right. Park in the driveway.

If approaching from the north / US 64; turn on Blueberry Hill Road and come south to the Lower Las Colonias Road turnoff as above; if you elect to use Lower Las Colonias Road from US 64 be advised of many speed bumps on that drive. (Also, be advised that some GPS units fail to find our location.)

When visiting, remember that the temperature drops relatively precipitously at nightfall here in the high desert. Please remember to bring warm wraps, hats and gloves.

Any problems -- please call 575-758-3670.
