Image obtained April 8, 2024 using an optical configuration resulting in an 270mm f/6 optical system -- employing a Nikon D3500(DX format) with a zoom telephoto lens mounted on an iOptron driven equatorial platform,1/40th second at ISO 400, no filter.

This Chromosphere image displays the almost-split-second nature of this feature of a Total Solar Eclipse, often very difficult to photographically obtain, after which . . .

. . . the first hint of Prominences appear. Prominences are storms on the Sun, commonly emanating from sunspots. These storms are obviously on the edge of the sun, and appear to leap many Earth-diameters away from it.
